WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
  •   Lead annual impairment analysis for all critical asset categories on the balance sheet i.e., goodwill, long-lived assets (PP&E, leases, intangibles), joint ventures, and other cost method investments.
  • Support the Company's external reporting function, ensuring that the financial statements and disclosures are in conformity with the accounting principles generally accepted in the US.
  • Identify and analyze technical accounting related areas and their impact on the organization.
  • Assist organizational M&A focuses to include financial reviews, analysis, technical implications, and more.
  • Support the Company's external reporting function, ensuring that the financial statements and disclosures are in conformity with the accounting principles generally accepted in the US.
  • Organize enterprise-wide quarterly trainings on various topics as it relates to US GAAP, internal controls, and SEC matters.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, with 6+ years of relevant experience in a big four setting or progressive industry roles.
  • CPA Required
  • Strong understanding of SEC, PCAOB, and US GAAP
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a hands-on approach to developing processes and internal controls, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
