LOCATION:
- Charlotte, NC - In office 5x per week
THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
- Oversee cash balances, ensuring adequate funds are available, and prepare timely wire transfers to meet financial obligations.
- Prepare and analyze monthly operating financials for residential properties, including Operating Statements, Balance Sheets, and Statements of Cash Flows.
- Reconcile the Balance Sheet and Trial Balance at month-end, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Coordinate the preparation of development draws, journal entries, and development month-end packages for accurate financial reporting.
A BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required, with a preference for real estate accounting experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the real estate sector, with a strong understanding of property financials.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills to ensure the accuracy of all financial data and reports.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a solid understanding of accounting software and systems.
