WHERE THIS SITS:
- Onsite 5 days a week in Charlotte, NC with flexibility to come in early and leave early to beat the traffic
THE ROLE YOU’LL PLAY:
- Prepare bank reconciliations monthly and maintains up to date and accurate cash balances for all property bank accounts
- Full accounting functions including journal entry preparation and review, account analysis, monthly financial reporting, year-end transactions, and closings
- Utilize Quickbooks and Bill.com for AP/AR responsibilities
- Sales Tax experience in multiple states would be helpful (NC, SC, GA, FL)
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasts as required
- Work with managers to provide guidance, explain processes, and resolve accounting matters
- Review and update documents and policies and identify and develop process improvements
BACKGROUND NEEDED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- Yardi & QuickBooks experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, meet tight timelines and adapt to shifting priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Polished interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels
