WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Provide strategic financial leadership through timely, accurate financial reporting and a comprehensive five-year business plan for regional and corporate leadership teams.
  • Manage all aspects of the division’s homebuilding operations, optimizing efficiency and aligning departmental policies with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations across financial operations.
  • Oversee financial reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements and closings in line with corporate guidelines.
  • Refine and implement operational strategies, utilizing advanced technology to improve business performance.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of financial professionals, fostering alignment with organizational goals and growth within the division.

A BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Seven to ten years of senior financial management experience, with exposure to complex financial operations and controls in large organizations.
  • Proven track record in senior financial leadership within a large, recent division of a publicly traded homebuilder.
  • Expertise in managing financial processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing multiple departments in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to drive strategic improvements and navigate financial challenges.
  • Proficiency in JD Edwards or similar ERP systems, with advanced skills in MS Office and email communications.
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed and thrive in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
