WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Identifies and prioritizes new business opportunities that align with strategic objectives and revenue targets.
  • Provides actionable insights through comprehensive market research and financial modeling to inform senior management.
  • Analyzes industry trends and competitive intelligence to develop business strategies and maintain market relevance.
  • Works cross-functionally to evaluate opportunities, assessing risks and formulating mitigation strategies for new business initiatives.
  • Develops proposals and identifies upselling opportunities, expanding revenue potential within existing accounts.
  • Conducts ROI assessments and financial forecasting to ensure profitability of new ventures.
  • Provides senior management with regular updates and insights, ensuring alignment with business goals.
 
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • 4+ years of experience in business development, market research, or strategic planning in the industrial sector
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and interpreting market trends, demonstrating strong analytical capabilities.
  • Experience in negotiations and proposal development to support business growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills for engaging internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% internationally and domestically for networking, partnerships, and industry events.
  • Exposure to M&A activities preferred 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance and/or engineering, or a related field.
