WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Manage the integrity of general ledger processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations and controls.
  • Lead the monthly close process for multiple brands across different ERPs, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Collaborate with FP&A teams to provide critical insights through management reporting and financial analysis.
  • Mentor and oversee Staff Accountants, fostering professional growth and maintaining operational excellence.
  • Drive process improvements in areas such as sales and use tax, property tax coordination, and ad-hoc financial projects.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles, demonstrating leadership and operational expertise.
  • Proficient in GAAP accounting principles and advanced in Microsoft Excel.
  • Skilled at navigating high-volume, ambiguous environments while managing competing priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a proven ability to lead teams and collaborate across departments.
