AccruePartners welcomes Lizzy Smith the team!

Lizzy joins the AccruePartners team as a Staffing Manager on our Enterprise Accounts team, supporting our national accounts across multiple industry verticals.

Originally from Rockville, Maryland, Lizzy attended High Point University where she studied Broadcast Journalism. After graduation, she started her career in Recruiting in Baltimore but found herself missing the South. She first learned about AccruePartners through a few old friends/coworkers who now work at AccruePartners and convinced her joining the company was a perfect fit – and it was!

“I love the atmosphere and the energy at AccruePartners. It’s also given me the opportunity to recruit for multiple lines of business. I really liked that I would be challenged every day with new and different types of searches,” says Lizzy.

In her new role, she hopes to become a subject matter expert across multiple lines of business and skillsets. “The enterprise team gives me the opportunity to learn new IT, Engineering and Technical business skillsets. I hope to use those skills to provide even higher quality recruiting to enhance the continued successes of the organization.”

Outside the office, Lizzy is a foodie through and through. You can find her exploring Charlotte’s latest restaurants and craft brewery scene around town.

Please join us in welcoming her to the team!

AccruePartners is excited to announce the recent addition of Cate Pace to the team!

Cate is originally from Salem, Virginia and attended Roanoke College (Go Maroons!). Cate’s story is unique in that she was first a consultant with AccruePartners on assignment with one of our leading manufacturing clients here in Charlotte. Because of the excellent level of service she had received when working with Accrue from a candidate perspective, after seven months with one of our clients, she decided she wanted to provide the same to forthcoming to candidates by joining the staffing industry.

Knowing she was ready for a career change, she worked with one of our recruiters on internal opportunities and learned the Accrue mission and core values – something she truly admired. Not long after, she joined the team as a Staffing Manager on our Accounting and Finance team.

“AccruePartners embodies the ultimate client and candidate experience. In my opinion, there isn’t another agency around that puts forth the time and effort like we do in our 17 step business system which has allowed us to achieve Inavero’s Best of Staffing awards 5 years in a row, something less than 2% of staffing agencies can claim. Not to mention, the creative office environment and vibrant personalities that fill our space make coming to work every day so much fun,” says Cate.

In her new role, she hopes that she can impact people’s lives by connecting them with an opportunity that will advance their careers and add value to the client both culturally and metrically.

Cate has an eye for design. Outside the office, you can find her binge-watching HGTV and decorating her space in new, trendy ways. She also enjoys cooking, something special she always shared with her mom.

We’re excited for Cate’s future successes with AccruePartners and are excited to welcome her to the team!

AccruePartners is excited to announce the recent return of former employee, Meagan Parker Penland!

Meagan spent 5 years (2009-2014) with AccruePartners during a tremendous growth time leading several divisions and bringing in several of our current strategic accounts.  Since we saw her last she has spent time in corporate recruiting, working for a competitor and lastly at a global management consulting firm as a business development manager responsible for identifying and managing solution based (delivery consulting, managed services and professional staffing) opportunities within Fortune 500 Retail Accounts.

Originally from St. Simons Island in Georgia, Meagan attended the University of Alabama where she studied Mass Communications. She moved to Charlotte after graduation and has lived here ever since establishing her brand and building her network. She brings 9+ years of recruiting and sales experience back to AccruePartners. In her current role at AccruePartners, Meagan will focus on national account management for a Fortune 100 financial services client.

Outside the office, Meagan and her husband enjoy outdoor activities, specifically on the water and spending time with their two rescue dogs, Captain and Waffles.

We are thrilled to have Meagan back with the AccruePartners team and look forward to her adding expertise to the organization once again!

AccruePartners is excited to announce the newest member of our team, Amanda Wynn!

Amanda joins AccruePartners as a Recruiter on our Recruiting Process Outsource (RPO) team, supporting one of the largest corporate wellness companies worldwide, focusing on human performance. Originally from Syracuse, New York, Amanda and her family made the permanent move to North Carolina when she was a freshman in High School. She attended the University of Alabama where she studied International Studies with a focus on Latin America and a minor in Spanish. Upon graduation, Amanda moved to Argentina where she spent two years coaching CrossFit, enjoying the culture and weather, and broadening her bi-lingual capabilities. After two years she was ready to make the trip back to the states and was introduced to AccruePartners through a friend (and now co-worker).

Amanda was originally drawn to AccruePartners and the staffing world mainly because of the fast-paced, take-charge environment the industry is known for. Amanda was looking to join a company that fostered a team-oriented, family environment and had heard positive things about AccruePartners throughout the Charlotte community. It seems her love for fitness came full circle, landing her a job on our team, supporting a client in the health and fitness industry. Now, a Recruiter on our RPO team, Amanda looks forward to finding the right fit for her candidates and clients in order to ensure that all parties involved can find real satisfaction in their workdays.

Outside the office, she loves to take her dog, Rocky, on adventures with friends and cheering on the Crimson Tide! She’s also heavily involved in competing in Olympic weightlifting, training most days after work.

We’re excited to welcome Amanda to the team!
