WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT: 

  • Administer and run vulnerability scans on IT infrastructure
  • Administer and monitor cloud security tools
  • Manage service requests for infrastructure vulnerability management needs
  • Manage infrastructure vulnerability management reporting
  • Actively participate as a team member on a team focused on ensuring that vulnerabilities are found and addressed to ensure that the company is safe from cyber risks

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of experience with infrastructure vulnerability management
  • Familiarity with common network/infrastructure vulnerabilities, how they work, and how to remediate them
  • Proficiency with Windows and familiarity with Linux operating systems
  • Experience with ticketing systems and change control processes
  • Experience with several of the following vulnerability detection and cloud management tools: InsightVM, Nessus, Qualys, Orca, Prisma, NMAP, etc. 
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products (especially Excel)

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Experience writing and working with SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Experience writing and working with Python scripting
  • Experience with administration of cybersecurity risk management platforms like Archer, Brinqa, etc.
