WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Collaborate with the executive and senior leadership team of designated business units, alongside the senior HR Business Partner for the Americas region, to synchronize business and people strategy formulation and implementation.
  • Offer counsel and coaching to senior leaders in executing their leadership roles and approaches to managing people. Facilitate the identification of key people priorities, with a particular emphasis on talent identification and organizational design, and then collaborate with business leaders to execute the strategy.
  • Oversee the team of Americas HRBPs and Regional Partners to ensure their alignment with business and people strategy.
  • Partner with the global People & Culture team to cultivate and sustain a highly effective delivery-focused function, providing robust support during periods of change. Work in tandem with the VP, EMEA/APAC HR Business Partner to ensure consistent backing for our global management and employee teams.
  • Provide both strategic and operational input to reinforce and harness the capabilities of P&C centers of excellence across the teams.
  • Take the lead in America and harmonize with EMAC/APAC on the employee relations approach, policies, and practices, guaranteeing equitable treatment and outcomes aligned with company values and engagement goals.
  • Foster a robust partnership with Talent Acquisition to secure and onboard a diverse workforce, ensuring a positive onboarding experience.
  • Lead the Americas P&C team in conjunction with HR Operations & Compliance, offering support for HR compliance and ensuring the uniform application of HR practices, policies, and procedures. This includes coordination with HR Operations & Compliance in assigning team involvement in OFCCP audits, Affirmative Action activities, EEO policy updates, state-mandated pay filings, and other related tasks.
  • Strategy: Collaborate with the People & Culture leadership team to devise and execute a comprehensive strategy for employee engagement, experience, and culture. This strategy will integrate elements of diversity, equity, and inclusion goals and tactics throughout an employee’s journey, from recruitment and onboarding to ongoing performance management and development.
  • Engagement: Design and implement employee engagement programs aimed at enhancing motivation, performance, and retention. These programs may include engagement feedback mechanisms (surveys, focus groups), recognition initiatives, ERGs, and various opportunities for collaboration and networking.
  • Experience: Spearhead processes, systems, and initiatives focused on promoting well-being and personal growth, ensuring that employees have a positive experience throughout their tenure. This encompasses initiatives such as onboarding programs, training and development, career advancement, and work-life balance.
  • Culture: Cultivate and reinforce the desired culture  through collaboration with leaders and employees, fostering an inclusive, positive, innovative, and high-performance culture on a global scale
  • Change Management: Provide support for organizational change endeavors, new processes, and initiatives by ensuring that employees are engaged and receptive to changes through effective communication and well-structured change management plans.
  • Metrics and Analytics: Monitor and analyze key metrics related to employee engagement, satisfaction, and culture. Utilize this data to identify trends, areas for enhancement, and to gauge the impact of program initiatives.
