WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
  • Act as key business partner for Segment President and operations team, provide strategic insight and analytical support to help guide business decisions
  • Understand and evaluate operational goals
  • Understand key drivers of the business and using those to improve forward-looking views
  • Motivate, lead and develop a team of finance professionals
  • Flash and periodic business reporting including variance analyses
  • Develop and maintain forecasts for in-month updates
  • Work with M&A / Corporate Development to evaluate and integrate investment opportunities
  • Work with Data Analytics to understand customer patterns and competitive factors
  • Build strong relationships across business as well as across Finance and other corporate functions in the organization
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
  • 10+ years experience in Finance roles, with increasing responsibility and business interaction
  • Strong core FP&A skills, including business case modeling
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of planning technologies; OneStream, Planful and Oracle desirable
  • Proficient with business analytics and reporting software
  • Deep understanding about the drivers / levers of business and how that translates to financial success
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately model the financial aspects and outcomes of business issues using spreadsheets and/or other applicable tools
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Economics or Math
  • MBA preferred, CPA or other professional qualification is a plus.
