WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
- Production of monthly budget vs actual financial reports in accordance with GAAP and internal reporting guidelines.
- Monitor and present updated forecasts and projections on a regular basis
- Completion of ad hoc analysis on an as needed basis
- Key point person for auditors in the completion of the annual audited financial statements
- Management and coordination of the annual budgeting process
- Financial oversight of key 3rd party vendor relationships including concessionaire and merchandising partners
- Ensure appropriateness of expenditures and budget compliance
- Preparation of event settlements and flash reports
- Oversight of annual capex budget and fixed asset management
- Operate at the highest level of integrity
- Prepare financial statements and reports for internal and external reporting
- Lead and assist department heads in effectively and efficiently managing their respective budgets
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, employee expense reports, cash control, payroll processing, and corporate payroll tax compliance
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- Must display strong ethical conduct
- At least 7 years of finance and accounting experience
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree
- Must have a strong technical capacity for financial accounting software and Excel
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Works well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Must exhibit team work, reliability, and dependability
- Must maintain complete confidentiality of privileged and/or sensitive information
- Must be detail-oriented and must be able to multi-task while managing time successfully
