WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Manages daily operations within the organization's treasury function
Monitor and manage Corporate daily cash position, ensuring adequate liquidity
Oversee Corporate short-term borrowing and investing activities
Monitor the Company’s monthly cash balance by division
Execute funds movement transactions as requested/required
Review the Company’s external bank account database for completeness
Monitor external bank account usage and make recommendations on opening/closing external accounts
Review monthly account reconciliations of staff members
Review semi-annual bank fee analysis and audit of services to assure optimal pricing and continued use of services invoiced
Manage the Company’s Letters of Credit commitment
Perform various reconciliations including debt and cash, employee loan and prepaid accounts
Recommend and implement improvements to current cash management processes
Assist in development of policies, procedures, operational controls and standards
Establish and maintain positive bank relationships
Monitor economic situation and potential impact to the company
Prepare routine and Ad Hoc Reports for internal and external distribution
Daily Cash Flow Report for management
Analyze and report monthly interest expense
Quarterly covenant reporting
Monthly reporting package (cash, debt and interest)
Weekly treasury report of key indexes and key indicators
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent with concentration in accounting from a four-year college/university and 8-10 years of related experience and/or training
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports
Strong Excel skills
ERP and financial software experience required
Requires excellent written and verbal communications
Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently
