LOCATION

  • Charlotte, NC - 100% remote for now, then will sit on-site in Charlotte, NC when staff transitions back into the office after October

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The AML Compliance Technical Program Lead position is part of a team that is responsible for multiple applications that support the investment activities of the banking platform. Those responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Collaborates closely with the Compliance organization to analyze the current state of processes and systems, then use that information, along with business strategies and technology strategy to formulate future state processes and system design
  • Directly accountable for the business analysis, requirements elicitation and process design.
  • Provides direction and oversight of agile squad(s) to design, develop, deploy and sustain solutions that meet applicable business requirements.
  • Responsible for a set of projects and/or releases including deliverables, cost, schedule, quality, and status reporting.
  • Allocates and directs resources to accomplish tasks and maintains control of schedule(s), budget and deliverable quality.
  • Responsible for resolving issues and mitigating risks, escalating issues/risks when appropriate.
  • Manages teams, which may include Ally employee and/or vendor team members, informs the team of its progress; leads/develops Ally staff members.
  • Acts as team's interface to IT and Business Partners; develops/maintains strong relationship with vendor teams and vendor management

 

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience managing projects in the technology sector
  • 3+ years’ experience delivering and/or supporting AML and Fraud technology
  • Experience implementing and supporting Compliance platforms for Case Management, Alert Management and Transaction Monitoring required.
  • Experience implementing Financial Crimes Platforms from NICE Actimize required.
  • Experience implementing next generation Compliance platforms with Machine Learning, Link Analysis, Behavioral Biometrics a big plus
  • Good understanding of technical architecture, design and infrastructure (incl cloud) to communicate effectively with technology delivery teams
  • Ability to influence change across a matrix organization and collaborate with business and technology teams to deliver solutions
  • Ability to facilitate workshops with business and technology partners
  • Proven ability to manage outsourced development
  • Customer Focus -- proven track record of customer satisfaction and delivery success and ability to establish and maintain appropriate relationships with senior Business and IT partners
  • Consulting/Problem Solving -- ability to work in an advisory capacity to identify key technical and business problems, develop and evaluate alternative solutions and make recommendations
  • Systems Delivery -- extensive experience in all aspects of the software development life cycle (Agile)
  • Technical Program Management -- expertise in leading large programs including planning, estimation, risk management, budgeting, staffing, change control, and status reporting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg OMS products, data or APIs
  • Ability to communicate optimally with development staff and team
