WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
The Technical Writer works within the Global Infrastructure Services team to author, edit, and review technical documentation.
Working with limited oversight, the candidate will work with internal technical resources and teams to gather, write, and publish technical information for varied audiences.
The Technical Writer should have strong writing skills, the ability to synthesize technical content from an subject matter expert (SME) to create technical documentation, training materials, "How To Guides", Implementation documents, etc.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS Required Skills:
5 years’ experience in technical writing
Prior experience working with technology teams
Strong communications skills, including written, verbal and presentation
Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders both internally and externally
Infrastructure experience is a must
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in experience in English, Communication, Journalism,
Prior experience working within IT Infrastructure or Application Development departments
