WHERE THE POSITION IS LOCATED:

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Architect solutions, establish best practices and introduce/implement new technologies for Web applications.
  • Designing and developing Angular based web applications and Spring MVC/Spring Boot.
  • Developing application code following the best practices and design patterns in both Angular and Java technologies.
  • Define best practices for the new technologies introduced.
  • Creating self-contained, reusable, and testable prototype modules and components.
  • Writing unit tests and integration tests using JUnit/Spock (Java), Karma/Mocha/Codecept (AngularJS).
  • Collaborating with multiple teams including business stakeholders, UX Design and backend teams. 
  • Proven experience in developing secure, accessible and high performance UI applications compatible for desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Adapting interface for modern internet applications using the latest front-end technologies.

 

BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar.
  • 10+ years of work experience and expert knowledge in frontend frameworks (like Javascript, HTML/CSS3, JQuery, Angular, React, etc.) with the expertise to fuse these with modern web development practices
  • Good understanding of AJAX, JavaScript DOM manipulation techniques, JavaScript MV-VM/MVC frameworks and SPA applications.
  • Mastery of npm, JS library structure, JS library packaging, & JS library publishing
  • Good knowledge of Frontend build tools such as Gulp, Webpack or Rollup.js
  • Familiar with using JavaScript tools like Node.js, Webpack, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, JSLint, etc.
  • Experience in backend frameworks (like Java, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot).
  • Writing extensive unit tests using automated TDD task. Creating end-to-end test suites for all components, and running them with Protractor (or a well-reasoned alternative).
  • Required to have unix shell scripting knowledge.
  • Build automation using Maven or Gradle.
  • Open Source integration frameworks such as Spring integration, GraphQL, Kong, Apache Camel or MuleESB.
