Assists corporate attorneys and paralegal manager with legal tasks and activities to support and protect the organization.
  • Assisting corporate legal attorneys in resolving routine legal issues by providing administrative support.
  • Conducting legal tasks, such as research and drafting, under the supervision of corporate legal attorneys.
  • Maintaining repositories of legal documentation and databases.
  • Collecting law sources for attorneys such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, treaties, constitutions, and legal codes for preparation of legal documents, such as brief
  • •Prepare and file foundation and charitable  returns accurately and timely.
    •Prepare and file 1040 (Individual), 1120 (Corporate), 1065 (Partnership) and  709 (Gift Tax) returns accurately and timely.
    •Prepare and file Form 5498 and 1099R for IRA accounts.
    •File Form 990T for IRA accounts with UBI.
    •Make necessary 945 deposits and file annual return.
    •Calculate and pay income tax balance dues and estimate payments accurately and timely.
    •Prepare federal and state extension requests and payments.
    •Determine state filing requirements for trustee and paid preparer relationships.
    •Research new  tax laws to stay in compliance.
    •Respond  to and take necessary action to Federal and State notices.
    •Manage the IRS B notice requirements and withholding requirements of affected accounts.
    •Prepare Tax Projections
    •Send  annual letters to clients regarding tax law changes and updates
    •Proactively work to reduce taxes with planning suggestions and ideas
    •Attend  continuing education tax seminars  and maintain professional licenses and certifications
    •Electronically file all qualified tax  returns; paper file unqualified tax returns.
    •Coordinate with outside accountants  on decedents final return
