WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Is responsible for compliance with federal, state, and local governmental jurisdictions.
Assist in M&A initiatives and partner with tax providers on income tax compliance matters.
Coordinate quarterly and year-end tax provision.
Prepare and file monthly sales tax returns, annual property tax returns, and 1099s.
Manage compliance with local business licenses as well as implementation of tax policies and procedures.
Manage income tax audits, property tax audits, sales tax audits, and notices.
BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred).
5+ years of tax experience (sales and use tax preferred).
Heavy accounting and analytical skills, as well as knowledge of tax code, compliance, and procedures.
Ability to prioritize deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
Quickbooks, Sage Intacct, and Service Titan experience is a plus.
