WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

The Supply Chain Manager provides strategic and tactical direction for integrated supply chain activities and assists in the development of the business strategy. They will develop and execute strategies for increased customer satisfaction, safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, working capital management, and effectively introduce new products/processes for growth. They will oversee and promote effective Health, Safety and Environmental programs and practices, ensuring that high standards of site safety are established and met.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction for development and implementation of Supply Chain  including identification and implementation of defined business approaches that support and align with overall company strategies and initiatives
  • Manage network capacity to maintain inventory storage health and throughput capacity needs to support growth and profitability
  • Track industry trends and recommend new opportunities to enhance reliability, speed, and flexibility in orders
  • Execute projects to develop and grow the team and site, including exploring innovation opportunities for future technologies to improve processes, achieve operational excellence, and establish a competitive advantage.
  • Continuously review production costs and product quality, maximize yields, modify production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operations.
  • Introduce and provide guidance to executive leadership as well as key stakeholders on new concepts as well as provide updates on key projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 8+ years’ experience in demand planning, supply chain management, and/or omni-channel delivery
  • 5+ years’ experience in running Sales and Operations processes for a major corporation
