As a member of our Supply Chain group, the Supply Chain Director will have multi-site and multi-product responsibility for successfully implementing, managing, and maintaining the end-to-end Supply Chain. The Supply Chain Director is responsible for the successful application of the S&OP process each cycle. S/he is the person that prepares the scenarios and requirements and becomes essential in making sure all steps are adhered to within the process. This person will work across all functions from order to cash. The role drives consistent, repeatable & documented processes within the end-to-end Supply Chain. Responsibilities:
Create and Manage the Supply Chain Strategy and Vision
Manage Product Line Supply Chain Managers
Coordinate the Supply Chain End to End with Customer Care, Product Management, Operations, Commercial, Purchasing, and Logistics
Develop and implement processes to drive long-term sustainable improvements.
Lead and Drive the S&OP Process
Prepare scenarios - Conduct what-if analysis to create alternate scenarios for reconciling demand, supply and financial plans. Review these scenarios with the team to make decisions on the plan
Collect the financial plans and understand the root causes for any gap that exists between top-down and bottom-up plans.
Manage the product line sku mix.
Establish Working Capital targets in conjunction with leadership and finance
Maintain the agreed upon working capital targets on all product lines
Determine what is stocked and stocking levels that meet the business needs
Effectively manage long-term capacity
Optimize shipping within the Supply Chain
Qualifications:
BS in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent 5-7 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Logistics positions
Ability to lead and influence in a matrix environment
Proficiency in gathering, analyzing and interpreting data.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related Office applications
Effectively communicate with customers, both external and internal
