LOCATION
  • Morresville, NC / Hybrid

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Document and test existing internal controls; design operational and internal controls
  • Assist and lead internal/external audits and process improvements
  • Assist with month-end close process with accountants staff, ensuring assigned tasks have been completed/variances corrected and/or explained
  • Reconcile certain general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
  • Prepare and/or review certain journal entries and reconciliations on a monthly basis

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience
  • Documenting processes, testing and reporting on internal controls
  • Ability to create excel reports/analysis from large amounts of data
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to research and apply accounting principles and auditing standards
