LOCATION: Fort Mill, SC (Carowinds Blvd) - hybrid flexibility in office (Tues-Thurs)

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

• Performs monthly and quarterly closing procedures, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting.
• Debit / Credit – understanding of natural balances.
• Experience with automation (modeling, process improvement, upload templates) etc.
• Knowledge of fixed asset, depreciation, prepaid, and accrued expenses.
• Actual vs Plan review experience.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of related experience.
• Strong accounting foundation and understanding of GAAP.
• Ability to identify accounting and internal control issues and alert management when needed.
• Superior Excel skills, experience with Oracle or similar ERP.
• Inquisitive, analytical, problem solver, strong sense of accountability, and self-motivated.
