WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Manage the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation practices and recommends changes that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and corporate objectives.
  • Recommend benefits programs to management by studying employee requirements and trends and developments in benefits offered by other organizations.
  • Support management’s decision making by analyzing benefit options and predicting future costs.
  • Identify benefit options by studying programs, obtaining advice from consultants.
  • Maintain benefit records by developing recordkeeping systems; initiating new-hire benefits; recording changes.
  • Resolve employee questions and problems by interpreting benefit policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the 401(k)Plan is administered in compliance with ERISA regulations
  • Actively partner with third party compliance auditors in the annual external audit process for 401(k)
  • Develop job-specific interview guides for talent acquisition
  • Conduct interviews with prospective candidates
  • Counsel managers on employee relations and employee development, assisting in the corrective action or Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) process as necessary
  • Act as the point of contact for addressing employee concerns

 

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or other relevant field; 5+ years Payroll, Benefits, Compensation and Human Resources Generalist experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices and experience in the functional areas of Payroll, Benefits and Compensation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of employment regulations including, but not limited to, EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and Affirmative Action requirements in a multi-state environment
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, employment policy and procedure and internal communications
