WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:
- Winston-Salem, NC – Hybrid
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Internal financial reporting, accounting and transactional research and analysis, and creation of ad-hoc requests for medical group system initiatives.
- Develop and maintain analysis related to the operational activities, including (but not limited to) functioning as a liaison to a particular subset of clinics, departments, or service line(s).
- Preparation of financial statements, review of department or provider productivity, and analyses related to new providers, services, etc.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Various month-end closing responsibilities and completion of various financial surveys.
- Develop, maintain, and improve financial analysis identifying areas for optimization and improvement related to clinical/departmental productivity.
- Strong organizational and commutation skill are essential given the need to often convey financial concepts and data to end users outside of finance.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
- 2 Years of financial analyst experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills: must be adept at presenting his/her ideas or recommendations orally and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills, highly professional demeanor, and proven ability to develop and foster strong working relationships.
- High energy level: someone who understands the urgency of meeting the organization’s needs.
- Strong analytical and research skills. Must be able to absorb large amounts of data, reaching sound business conclusions without getting “analysis paralysis”.
- Experience with interim and annual financial reporting
