WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:
Winston-Salem, NC – Hybrid
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Internal financial reporting, accounting and transactional research and analysis, and creation of ad-hoc requests for medical group system initiatives.
Develop and maintain analysis related to the operational activities, including (but not limited to) functioning as a liaison to a particular subset of clinics, departments, or service line(s).
Preparation of financial statements, review of department or provider productivity, and analyses related to new providers, services, etc.
Participate in the annual budgeting process.
Strong Excel and analytical skills.
Various month-end closing responsibilities and completion of various financial surveys.
Develop, maintain, and improve financial analysis identifying areas for optimization and improvement related to clinical/departmental productivity.
Strong organizational and commutation skill are essential given the need to often convey financial concepts and data to end users outside of finance.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
2 Years of financial analyst experience is highly preferred.
Excellent communication skills: must be adept at presenting his/her ideas or recommendations orally and written.
Strong interpersonal skills, highly professional demeanor, and proven ability to develop and foster strong working relationships.
High energy level: someone who understands the urgency of meeting the organization’s needs.
Strong analytical and research skills. Must be able to absorb large amounts of data, reaching sound business conclusions without getting “analysis paralysis”.
