  • This role will coordinate with the GBU Integrated Supply Chain Leaders and their business Leadership Teams in leading ongoing evolution and growth.
  • Bring value to business strategy and execution, aligning the company’s Integrated Supply Chain and business strategies.
  • Autonomous and highly visible, this individual will be fully accountable for driving the results to meet target objectives.
  • Lead a team of supply chain global process owners to design, develop and align end-to-end global supply chain processes to meet customer and business needs.
  • Collaborate with enterprise supply chain leaders to identify supply chain pain points and develop solutions to drive effectiveness in the supply chain.
  • Serve as a key member of the Supply Chain Leadership Team in developing and implementing transformational business plans across the portfolio, including footprint considerations and analysis, driving organic growth and productivity initiatives and evaluating new markets, M&A and cost efficiency.
  • Act as a thought leader and business partner by proactively providing analytical insight and perspective to the CSCO and senior management.
  • Manage a matrixed team with our three global business unit Integrated Supply Chain transformation leaders and be a key member of the Supply Chain leadership team.
  • Serve as a Supply Chain “Talent Magnet”, providing leadership in the recruitment, training and development of top-quality Integrated Supply Chain talent to ensure the Integrated Supply Chain organization has a high level of performance and productivity.
  • Instill a culture that emphasizes accountability and transparency among the Integrated Supply Chain transformation team. Identifies and drives key levers of the business and develops mechanisms to hold people accountable.
  • Proactively develops solutions and marshals the right resources to attain short term and long-term Integrated Supply Chain outcomes.
  • Establish an Operational Excellence leadership team and organization that drives business results for Integrated Supply Chain.



  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience working within a well-regarded matrixed global manufacturing business of scale, with proven track record of innovation, delivery, and results.
  • An undergraduate degree is required, in business, supply chain or operations. MBA is preferred.
  • Global supply chain experiences, preferably in the area of supply chain operations excellence.
  • Strong understanding of Integrated Supply Chain operations including but not limited to plant operations, logistics and procurement processes.
  • Experienced in plant optimizations, plant technology upgrades, relocations, greenfield, and brownfield start-up operations, must have global supply chain experiences and understanding of complex manufacturing footprints.
  • Exceptional intellect, business and finance acumen, and communication skills to help drive Albemarle’s financial vision, guidance, and compliance in support of business growth and profitability.
  • Strong analytical skills and outstanding management and operational instincts.
  • Strong commercial orientation and a proven ability to partner with line managers and operating teams to drive and monitor performance and to develop strategic plans. He or she will be a strategic leader who can impact and change business-level strategy beyond the Integrated Supply Chain area.
