WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Performs analysis of business activities to determine business requirements. Works with business users to understand and define needs above and beyond requirements provided by the business.
  • Converts business requirements into functional specifications that are understandable by technology team members.
  • Design and document workflows, using existing workflows where applicable, that meet the needs of the business or minimize existing pain points.
  • Work with Development teams to ensure existing application integrations are working as designed, including ensuring all data elements are being loaded properly.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technology organization to ensure proper implementation of projects within the expected timelines.
  • Ensure proper data processing through the use of data checks and reports to facilitate error free business processes. Test any features that are released to production and make sure that requirements are met.
  • Provides application and production support as needed to the departments and systems that they support.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
Required Skills:
  • 8+ years of Finance domain experience
  • 2+ years of Asset Management experience or Fixed Income
  • Previous experience creating Business Requirements for Asset Management applications
  • SQL experience - writing SQL scripts and querying 
  • Proficiency in analyzing data in MS Excel
  • Understanding of Equity, Fixed Income, Loans, Real Estate and Private Credit asset classes preferred
  • Previous experience working in an AGILE development environment preferred
