  • You’ll be a full stack engineer with ownership of critical functionality related to the platform, and work collaboratively on continuous innovation to ensure an optimal Web experience
  • Evolve our software practices by leading design sessions, brown bag sessions, and team discussions
  • Provide robust reporting and analytics related to finance needs as they continue to scale
  • Work proactively to solve challenges associated with a growing, high-volume, customer-driven ecommerce and retail business
  • Communicate across different functions of the business and collaborate with other developers
  • Ownership of critical functionality related to the platform, working to ensure an optimal Web experience for customers

 

BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  • Multiple years’ experience in a Fintech environment designing, developing, and maintaining public-facing Web applications at scale, deployed in the AWS environment
  • Experience with mentoring engineers and influencing engineering practices
  • Full stack engineer - You are comfortable in the browser, the database, and everything in between
  • A deep commitment to test driven development, including examples of how you've incorporated it into recent projects
  • Demonstrated and documented interest in dynamic Web languages, evolving frameworks, AWS/serverless platforms and other progressive technologies that could be applied to improving the Web experience
  • Well qualified candidates would have experience with the following: AWS, Ruby, Rails (or equivalent MVC framework), SQL, JavaScript (React/Redux), Git. Experience with comparable web frameworks will be considered as well.
