WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Provision project sites as new requests are approved
  • Provide general site support including user requested site enhancements of InfoPath forms, site layout, content, or other user support
  • Design new site and page layouts that promote intuitive use
  • Provide documentation and training that promotes proper site use, administration, and sustainability
  • Actively participate in the creation and maintenance of site permissions and permission groups
  • Effectively communicate and interact with site users, site developers and Corning IT personnel

 

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

 

  • 3 or more years of demonstrated and proven experience working with SharePoint and related tools
  • Proficient in use of SharePoint (2013, 2016, Online) and InfoPath forms (2013, 2016, Online)
  • Experience with CorasWorks webparts, Power View, Power Pivot, and Access are a plus
  • 2-year technical or business degree preferred
  • Assumes responsibility for own skill development
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build relationships and interact with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively present information
  • Results-oriented with a demonstrated strong work-ethic
  • Flexibility - Able to change and adjust smoothly as the situation demands
