WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:
  • Matthews, NC – On site
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Ensure accuracy of financial entries and controls for financial consolidation and reporting
  • Knowledge of GAAP standards, manufacturing cost accounting, and intercompany transactions
  • Identify and correct inconsistencies in financials
  • Manage inventory and costing, reconciling perpetual inventory reports with the general ledger
  • Analyze and resolve inventory-related variances on a monthly basis
  • Establish and analyze product costs, bills of materials, standard costing, absorption variance analysis, and obsolescence reserves
  • Own the financial close process for subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy of transactions and reports
  • Handle translation, elimination, and foreign currency transactions with integrity and completeness
  • Engage with annual audits and business planning process
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Drive process improvements for efficiency while maintaining accounting policies and controls
  • Timely and accurate preparation of journal entries and accruals with proper documentation
  • Collaborate on special projects and initiatives as needed by operational needs
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing industry with exposure to international entity elimination and consolidation processes
  • Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O experience is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing costing
  • Effective priority management with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to interpret laws and regulations, identifying requirements and related controls.
