LOCATION: Ft Mill, SC (near Carowinds) onsite
WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Performs monthly and quarterly closing procedures, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting.
Responsible for keeping various schedules and spreadsheets up to date
Assist with the general ledger formatting and reporting
Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bad debt and the general ledger on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
Bachelor's degree in accounting and 2+ years of related experience.
Strong accounting foundation and understanding of GAAP.
Excellent Excel skills, experience with large ERP systems is a plus
Inquisitive, analytical, problem solver, strong sense of accountability, and self-motivated.
