LOCATION:
Charlotte, North Carolina - 100% remote for now, then will sit Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) when staff transitions back into the office after February.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Serve as a high specialized, senior-level technical application lead focusing on operational stability by driving IT operations readiness through the continuous improvement in our products
Work closely with development teams and business partners
Provide coaching to junior operations teams’ members
Implement enhanced monitoring and alerting capabilities for distributed platforms
Aid in the development of automation to reduce MTTR and manual tasks
HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:
5+ years of relevant background experience
Experience driving large scale development efforts in an agile environment
Must have thorough understanding of DevOps practices with a focus on managing production environments
Experience using technical knowledge, creativity, and company practices and to develop proactive alerting and monitoring
Experience developing runbooks and patterns for AWS/DevOps operations
Experience working with IT business and development to develop new capabilities in displaying/monitoring/alerting on key performance indicators (KPIs)
