WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
Build and cultivate strong relationships with client groups and internal SMEs to execute tactical communications to key media outlets, press releases, media pitches, etc.
Collaborate cross-functionally and working with senior level executives to formulate PR plans and strategies that maximize overage of initiatives and enhance the brand’s voice and presence
Manage and supervise digital and in-person events, conferences, and presentations in terms of content, environment, and logistics
Share and implement best practices. Monitor PR activity to ensure the timeline, budget, and deliverables meet the stakeholder’s needs.
Lead media outreach initiatives inclusive of pitching, handling inbound media queries, and managing relationships between the business and local, national, and international media
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
Bachelors degree in Journalism, Media, Communications, etc
Must have 7+ years of blended agency and in-house OR 7+ years of agency experience
Must have 2 – 3 years of recent consumer PR experience with one or more Fortune 1000 consumer product or consumer services brands
Proven experience building and nurturing cross-functional relationships across multiple lines of business
