WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
The Sr. Infrastructure Manager will lead a project's entire lifecycle, including scoping, budgeting, implementation, and managing various aspects such as command and control, escalations, risk and issue handling, and time management.
Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, coordinating deployment activities with Operations/Support teams, and defining requirements for new technology implementations while ensuring alignment with business goals.
Serve as a communication bridge between leadership, end-users, and the organization's technology vision, both in written and in-person interactions.
Manage the help-desk system to support users of all levels, overseeing external partnerships, and establishing and nurturing an Infrastructure IT team are also key responsibilities.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
10+ years of experience within the Information Technology field, having a broad depth of knowledge in the areas of networking, storage, backup and restore technologies, virtualization and cloud technologies.
5+ years of experience managing contracts with IT service vendors.
Strong leadership skillset in being able to present analytical solutions to the team and create interpersonal relationships.
Resourceful and strong organizational ability to manage a diverse range of interests and issues in completing appropriate facilities transactions
