WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • The HR Specialist will be the main human resources point of contact for internal and temporary employees.
  • This position will be involved in several facets of human resources, such as onboarding, benefits, employee relations, contract agreements, reporting, and other areas as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with temp employees, clients, internal employees, carriers, and vendors with high exposure to the Management team.
  • Heavy involvement in benefits during monthly enrollment, Qualifying Events, Open Enrollment, COBRA, and invoice reconciliation, with hands-on experience in the benefits selection process.

  • Daily communication and collaboration with candidates, Internal employees, vendors, benefits carriers, and hiring managers at the VP, Director and Managerial level.
  • Facilitate onboarding for Temporary Employees through background checks, onboarding paperwork, eVerify, etc.
  • Process, prioritize, and organize high volume onboarding, in accordance with Client needs, in a timely fashion.
  • Welcome new Internal employees to the company through the creation of offer letters, employment agreements, training schedules, employee handbooks, desk setup, etc.
  • Involvement in Employee Relations through performance reviews, HR related investigations, etc. while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with temp employees, clients, internal employees, carriers, and vendors with high exposure to the Management team.
  • Administration of Client Fee Agreements and maintenance of such agreements.
  • Quarterly/Annual reporting for VMS/MSP Clients
  • Yearly reporting as it relates to 1095 reporting, ACA reporting, and Cost of Healthcare reporting.
  • Weekly reporting to help with business needs
  • Support the company as needed with ad hoc projects

HOW YOU ARE QUALIFIED:

  • Openness to New Experiences/Inquisitiveness - possess a natural curiosity, creativity, desire to learn, and a hungry mind.
  • 3-5+ years of Human Resources or Operations experience with involvement in benefits administration and onboarding.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced, highly polished, and professional remote/hybrid environment.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Excellent business acumen and research skills are critical.
