WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Inventory Management & Costing
    • Reconcile perpetual inventory reports to general ledger; analyze and resolve inventory-related variances on a monthly basis
    • Partner with colleagues to establish, maintain and analyze product costs, bills of materials, standard costing, absorption variance analysis and obsolescence reserves
  • Key role in financial close with subsidiary process ownership
    • Ensure accuracy of international and domestic subsidiary transactions and reports
    • Ensure integrity and completeness of translation, elimination, and foreign currency transactions
    • Monitor performance highlights
  • Engage with annual audits and business planning process
  • Create and maintain required monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency while maintaining accounting policies and internal controls
  • Timely and accurate preparation of journal entries, accruals and supporting documentation

???????PROFILE FOR SUCCESS:
  • Degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with exposure to manufacturing industry and international entity elimination and consolidation processes
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP
  • Acumen for or knowledge of manufacturing costing
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage priorities effectively with strong attention to detail while meeting established deadline
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and understand laws and regulations, identifying requirements and related controls
