WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Inventory Management & Costing
Reconcile perpetual inventory reports to general ledger; analyze and resolve inventory-related variances on a monthly basis
Partner with colleagues to establish, maintain and analyze product costs, bills of materials, standard costing, absorption variance analysis and obsolescence reserves
Key role in financial close with subsidiary process ownership
Ensure accuracy of international and domestic subsidiary transactions and reports
Ensure integrity and completeness of translation, elimination, and foreign currency transactions
Monitor performance highlights
Engage with annual audits and business planning process
Create and maintain required monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency while maintaining accounting policies and internal controls
Timely and accurate preparation of journal entries, accruals and supporting documentation
???????PROFILE FOR SUCCESS:
Degree in Accounting
5+ years of relevant experience with exposure to manufacturing industry and international entity elimination and consolidation processes
Solid knowledge of GAAP
Acumen for or knowledge of manufacturing costing
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage priorities effectively with strong attention to detail while meeting established deadline
Demonstrated ability to interpret and understand laws and regulations, identifying requirements and related controls
