LOCATION
Remote flexibility (based in Charlotte, NC)
WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT
Provide analysis to support corporate value creation strategic initiatives, which will involve assessing, structuring, executing and integrating corporate development opportunities such as mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, spin-off’s and early stage investments
Support and execute the financial aspects of M&A, venturing, joint venture, alliance partnering, planning, and analysis
Lead due diligence transaction process and analysis in coordination with internal deal teams, transaction advisors and target companies
Develop complex financial models, valuation methodologies, synergy/integration plans and transaction value creation levers
Create compelling and organized executive level presentations to review investment opportunities with management, Board, investors and advisors
Collaborate with business partners to evaluate strategic investments, develop business cases, including participating in the annual strategic planning process, and communicate ROI and NPV of investment opportunities to Senior Leadership
Provide decision support for buy vs. build alternatives to pursue attractive market growth opportunities
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
2+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, management consulting, private equity or similar data-driven function
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
MBA preferred
Advanced Excel modeling and data analytics capabilities
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – including ability to present PowerPoint decks to high-level executive stakeholders
Generates succinct value-added insights to drive performance improvements
Effective and convincing, polished presentation skills with advanced PowerPoint capabilities and data visualization/BI tools (Tableau, MSBI)
Adept at company valuation modeling methodologies, familiarity with corporate development transactions (M&A, JV, spin-off) & integration plans
Experience in financial statement review and adept at managing large data sets across multiple technology sources
