WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Collaborate with stakeholders across Banking Products & Services, Business Development and Analytics teams to define KPIs and scope dashboard requirements
Analyze/curate large volumes of data using BigQuery
Design, build and maintain dashboards in Looker
Build automated reports and alerts using Looker dashboards and email/Slack integrations
Develop and own validation processes to ensure data accuracy across dashboards and data sources
Resolve issues and bug fixes as part of the validation process and maintain backlog for dashboard enhancements
Provide recommendations for reporting improvements and build proof-of-concept processes utilizing best practices for data management.
Build dashboard tutorials, document process flows, best practices, and requirements of various use cases in a way that can be understood by technical and business stakeholders.
Support ad-hoc dashboard and data requests to provide insights to various teams
Work with the business development teams to research data issues, data validation and sign-offs
Build, develop and provide training on new and existing dashboards to various business units
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
4+ years of experience with SQL
4+ years of experience with Looker, Tableau, or similar data visualization tool
Strong problem-solver able to identify opportunities for growth or improvement to advance the goals of our both our partners and our business
Familiarity with banking risk concepts and KPIs (including fraud)
Experience with software development, especially in building automation
Ability to communicate qualitative and quantitative results clearly, succinctly, and confidently in verbal and written communications
Ability to independently thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment
Ability to work cross functionally and assert influence internally/externally
