  • Oversees scrum process and coaches the team (e.g., huddles, sprint reviews, retros)
  • Runs the daily huddle meetings using required tools and templates and ensures that the squad is making regular progress toward achieving its Objectives and Key Results
  • Facilitates sprint review, and creates required documents (e.g., executive summary, task status and updates, reasons for delay)
  • Uses agile methodology, principles and practices to plan, manage and support the delivery of complex solutions
  • Fosters close cooperation across all team members, encourages cross-training and supporting each other
  • Facilitates stakeholder collaboration, as needed
  • Shields the team from external interference and ensures team is functional and productive
  • Builds a transparent and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of punishment
  • Helps the Squad Lead define the sprint plan
  • Raises any deviation in Agile way of working to agile leaders
  • Act as an ambassador at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with Founder’s Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following Code of Conduct and Ethics policies

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience
  • Scrum master certification
  • Project Management certified
  • Strong communication skills able to communicate complex messages and teach new concepts
  • Able to resolve conflicts within the team early – strong mediator
  • Acts as active coach and mentor whose goal is to grow and maximize the team’s potential
  • Ability to interact effectively with business and technology groups to deliver highly efficient solutions
  • Able to focus deeply on planning; this includes both tactical and strategic planning
  • Advanced presentation, influencing and relationship management skills
  • Experience managing IT-focused projects with multifaceted, enterprise-wide solutions preferred
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Proficient and experienced with project management and team collaboration tools
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
