LOCATION: Ft Mill, SC (near Carowinds) onsite

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • Responsible for all of the sales and use tax revenue calculations and filings.
  • Maintaining accurate filing and timely filings for monthly, quarterly, and annual sales/use and scrap tax returns and payments to avoid penalties.
  • Lead sales and scrap tax audits as they occur.
  • Monthly reconciliation of sales tax and scrap tax accounts on the general ledger.
  • Communication with external vendors and customers as needed, including providing Snider’s sales tax exemption forms to applicable vendors.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related fields and or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience within the industry or related management position.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and the ability to learn and operate other software (AS400, SAP, BTN, etc.).
  • Superior customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal).
