  • Monitor workflow timing within the RFQ system to ensure all deadlines are met from both engineering and vendor base; develops relating reporting process; ensures that timing awareness pertaining to project timelines is clear; acts as liaison between engineering project work and the supply base to ensure project timing is met
  • Develop an effective, time-bound quoting process for new products, costing projects and development activities.
  • Ensure that vendor quoting is timely and managed within required timeframes including expedited quoting and special requests
  • Evaluate all RFQ forms prior to sending out for quote to ensure data completion and up to date drawings from engineering to maximize data integrity; ensures quality of returned quotes; engages suppliers for data improvement prior to quote forwarding for Manager approval
  • Develop and maintain vendor contact lists for the U.S. plant sites.
  • Maintain data within the system; ensure that lists such as vendor contact, preferred vendor lists, and Commodity ID Code (IDCO) lists are updated within the RFQ system as provided by the AP sourcing team
  • Develop reports and procedures to manage and evaluate effectiveness of RFQ system and related usage
  • Assess and evaluate effectiveness of RFQ process and RFQ management; suggest and implement improvements



  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Project Management or relevant field
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and oral/written communication skills
  • Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail
  • Results-oriented and demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency at the intermediate to experienced level in MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project).
