WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
  • The Responisble Investing Operations Team implements one of three of RI’s foundational pillars and is a critical part of our client's overall investment process. We are seeking a Responsible Investing (RI) Operations Analyst to support the team’s administration of proxy voting and engagement with portfolio companies.
  • Scheduling engagement calls/meetings between portfolio companies and Nuveen RI engagement analysts 
  • Maintaining a weekly shared calendar of engagements with supporting documentation and attendees and logging all calls/meetings into our engagement tracking platform 
  • Running weekly engagement and proxy voting reports and updating analytics dashboards 
  • Support the engagement team’s development and documentation of standard operating procedures and oversight functions 
  • As needed research, data gathering and compilation 
  • Other ad-hoc requests
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
  • Bachelor’s degree or 2-year degree with equivalent work experience 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional work experience, preferably with experience in finance or legal fields 
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail, organizational and planning skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Advanced capabilities in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 
  •  Ability to balance multiple and diverse priorities with time-sensitive deadlines while delivering a quality product.
