WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Drive communications around release readiness reviews, milestone reviews, and release go/no-go reviews
Collaborate with RM colleagues to devise, implement, and enforce standards and best practices.
Developing dashboards to help quantify internal processes
Compile detailed and summary reports of releases and present to management
Maintaining and evaluating tools supporting process automation for product release
Review and maintain standard operating procedures for operational elements of the program including release management, incident management plan, configuration management plan, account provisioning process, patch management plan and audit management plan.
Execute the release management life cycle which includes scheduling, coordinating, and managing software deployments and product rollouts.
Coordinate among teams responsible for security software development, product quality, application infrastructure, customer communication, and product messaging
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
5+ years experience in Release Management in complex software engineering and delivery environments
Bachelor'ss degree in computer science, information systems or similar technical degree; or equivalent work experience
Deep knowledge of software delivery lifecycle
Understanding of cloud (AWS, Azure) CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery
Understanding of Agile/Scrum/Scaled Agile Framework development processes
Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, PowerBI, ServiceNow.
