WHY THE ROLE IS IMPORTANT
Develop and maintain customer relationships, increase sales revenue, and identify new business opportunities
Conduct demos, presentations, and stay up to date on industry trends and product knowledge
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely product delivery
Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to post-sales follow-up, and maintain accurate records of sales activities
Optimize the manufacturer rep network within a 4-hour radius of Charlotte, NC, and attend trade shows and events as required.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
Requires 3+ years of sales experience in waterworks and fire protection products, and a proven track record of success through manufacturers reps
Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and travel up to 50% of the time
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
