WHAT YOU WILL DO
Collaborate with internal business partners across all lines of business supporting a human centered design innovation process, managing end-to-end custom research resulting in actionable recommendations.
Design qualitative and quantitative research plans, developing research questions, analyzing data and uncovering insights to present findings.
Program and conduct research using variety of methods and tools, particularly qualitative research, such as interviews, diary studies, and ethnography.
Maintain subject matter expertise with qualitative research approaches, including consideration of methodologies, tools, and resources
Serve as a consumer advocate, bringing relevant research insights into context supporting business planning and strategic actions
Ability to be a storyteller from research, summarizing key takeaways with implications for the business for executive level consumption.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, social sciences, or related field
3+ years of experience conducting qualitative research (interviews, ethnography, observation), including designing methodology and recruitment approaches
Experience designing and analyzing a range of qualitative and quantitative research, including questionnaire / discussion guide design, data analysis, report design / creation
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred: Specialized certification or degree related to qualitative research or behavioral science
Preferred: 5+ years of market research experience in a business to consumer setting, financial services experience
