WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Collaborate with internal business partners across all lines of business supporting a human centered design innovation process, managing end-to-end custom research resulting in actionable recommendations.
  • Design qualitative and quantitative research plans, developing research questions, analyzing data and uncovering insights to present findings.
  • Program and conduct research using variety of methods and tools, particularly qualitative research, such as interviews, diary studies, and ethnography.
  • Maintain subject matter expertise with qualitative research approaches, including consideration of methodologies, tools, and resources
  • Serve as a consumer advocate, bringing relevant research insights into context supporting business planning and strategic actions
  • Ability to be a storyteller from research, summarizing key takeaways with implications for the business for executive level consumption.

 

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, social sciences, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience conducting qualitative research (interviews, ethnography, observation), including designing methodology and recruitment approaches
  • Experience designing and analyzing a range of qualitative and quantitative research, including questionnaire / discussion guide design, data analysis, report design / creation
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Preferred: Specialized certification or degree related to qualitative research or behavioral science
  • Preferred: 5+ years of market research experience in a business to consumer setting, financial services experience
