WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Responsible for the design, development, test, implementation and/or maintenance of part or all of a complex application program, or modifying existing routines or purchased application software.
  • May be totally responsible for a more complex programming project.
  • Accountable for complying with all laws and regulations associated with duties and responsibilities.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

  •  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Requires a knowledge of computing systems which includes data processing equipment, programming languages, programming and analysis techniques, operating systems, test and data management.
  • Should have demonstrated ability to analyze and solve logical problems such as may be found in mathematics, statistics, etc.
  • Minimum three years experience in programming/analysis, including designing and developing complex programs from detailed specifications required.
  • Basic communication skills to coordinate internal education, interaction with internal areas concerning project status necessary.
  • Proficiency in current programming technology required.
  • Designs, codes, tests, maintains, trouble shoots, documents on new or existing integrated information systems with moderate supervision at various levels of complexity to maintain quality enterprise business solutions of application architectures.
  • Produces, and assist with the planning of, quality enterprise information systems of application architectures that meet or exceed client expectations on operations and strategic projects.
  • Understands IT Departmental Goals and Objectives and delivers work products to contribute to those goals.
