  • Charlotte, NC - 100% remote for now, then will sit on-site in Charlotte, NC when staff transitions back into the office after October



The Product Manager will be responsible for supporting development of Checking product strategies, helping to develop and mature the product offering, and driving alignment amongst resources (channel, technology, and marketing) to deliver on business goals. This role will lead cross functional teams to identify opportunities, develop concept solutions that drive profitability, improved product competitiveness, operational simplicity, and tangible business outcomes. This role will also require interactions across numerous organizations and functional groups placing a premium on relationship building, ability to develop followership and collaboratively create solutions.

  • Responsible developing innovative solutions using data, observations, developing concepts to improve customer experience and deliver value
  • Ensure business, technology, channel, marketing, and analytics partners have a clear understanding of product value (economics) and business objectives and are driving meaningful improvements that optimize the business
  • Responsible for driving customer engagement and product usage (service, payments, balances, relationship growth)
  • Responsible for improving customer satisfaction and shaping end-to-end customer experience
  • Align necessary resources to define, scope, prioritize and execute work
  • Actively work as a solution team member, helping balance priorities, financial impact, and the end-to-end customer experience
  • Responsible for reviewing monthly business performance, assessing trends, opportunities, and developing forward looking outlook (NIE, Revenue, Balances, Customer growth)
  • Work closely with vendors to manage performance, SLA's, contract dynamics, and overall relationship
  • Work closely with pricing team to position products to meet business goals
  • Responsible for first line risk, compliance, regulatory and legal aspects of transactional deposit products



  • 5+ years of experience in product management or operations; experience with Deposit Products is a plus
  • Proven record of working directly with analytics teams to identify trends, solve problems, and develop cost benefit analyses
  • Strong partnership focus; prior success with indirect leadership of all levels - up, down, and peer partners. Proven ability to work well with banking operations and information technology teams
  • Customer-centric focus to product management; puts a priority on creating a premium customer experience
  • Strategic thinking: able to link disparate concepts/ideas to develop a coherent approach solving for business performance and unlocking value
  • Ability to work at a very detailed level, as well as synthesize and present key action items / insights
  • Strong presentation and communication skills; proficient in MS office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, Vizio, and Word
  • Experience with VOC surveys, analyzing data, and forming ideas on enhancements
  • Exposure to vendor management including establishing/assessing SLAs, reviewing contracts, and ensuring overall financial and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work at a detailed level, as well as synthesize and present key insights
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience
