Director Level Role:
The Principal Product Architect of Connected Technology & Engineering will be responsible for the Company's IoT/Connected asset strategy, with primary focus on remote monitoring and diagnostic of on-road / off-road assets/solutions within the rental fleet.
You will partner with the Company's Fleet, Operations, Technology, and Sales/Profit Center teams to drive the execution of the Company's connected asset (IoT) strategy and realization of value driven outcomes for our business by utilizing the state-of-the-art technology stack and offerings.
You'll be making data-driven decisions, advocating for the end user both internal and external, and balancing continuous iteration and innovation while launching new features that contribute to the growth of the business.
You'll work with a global team across multiple time zones
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering with 14+ years of work experience or Masters /PhD degree with 10+ years of experience (preferred)
Experience implementing digital transformation solutions for service industry is highly preferred
Experience in implementing cloud data solutions handling streaming IoT data and analytics is must
Experience with IoT stack and handling complex use cases with stream analytics and time series data bases
AI/ML experience in executing advance predictive analytics and deriving use cases to align with business KPI’s to measure and realize outcomes, will be a key trait for this role
Master Data Management, Data Governance and Customer Master hierarchy will be a good addition to this profile
PTC, Hitachi or other IoT platform hands-on experience is a must
Proven track record and expertise in defining and implementing digital strategies across all stages of the value chain (Industry 4.0/IoT)
Experience with cloud solutions of AWS or Azure or GCP or others
Experience with streaming data visualization using PowerBI, Tableau or other visualization tools is a must.
Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are required.
A background in Project and Product management and applying Agile methodology
