WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

  • Risk & Issue Management: Identifies project level risks and issues; Escalates risks and issues to Steering Committee as needed; provides recommendations for issue resolution; Updates and manages Project Risk and Issue Log;
  • Implementation and Transition Management:  Monitors and controls implementation and transition activities to meet business requirements; Identifies lessons learned from the project and its projects
  • Dependencies and Integration:  Identifies and analyzes staffing/resource plans; training programs; manages dependencies and interdependencies between IT and Business Units; Integrates project plans across projects; Creates Program Management Plan
  • Scrum Master/Project Management: Facilitates and manages the process of moving the project toward completion.
  • Schedule Management: Manages program increments, creates project plans and high level schedule, providing the basis for the individual project plans; Identifies dependencies, milestones, and critical paths; Manages project according to plan

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7 years of project and/or scrum master experience
  • 5+ years of agile tools experience (JIRA preferred)
  • 7+ years within the Financial Services and IT industry required
  • 7+ years working in Waterfall AND Agile project development environments
