WHY THE ROLE IS IMPORTANT ·
Ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance of payroll transactions in a timely manner
Monitor payroll interface and resolve any discrepancies
Confirm and verify all payroll data, including deductions taxes and variances
Research and provide data reports for internal and external audits
Collaborate with internal and external partners on all payroll related initiatives and engagements
Process Domestic US Payrolls.
Identify process improvement opportunities
Validate time entries and perform variance analysis
Experience with multi-state and non-union with year-end, federal, state and local taxes
Demonstrates the ability to multitask and work independently
Strong knowledge of deductions, garnishments, and taxes
Understands financial controls and compliance with laws and policies
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
3+ years of payroll processing experience
Willing to collaborate and work in a small team environment
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Strong Excel experience preferred
Hit the ground running through demonstrated past experience
