WHERE THIS POSITION IS LOCATED:
South Charlotte, Hybrid- 3 days in office with flexibility
WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:
Administers & processes bi-weekly payroll; loading & auditing hours, processing and paying monthly incentives and commissions, calculating checks, expenses, tuition reimbursements or other special pay scenarios.
Maintains and updates time systems.
Partners with Finance with respect to applicable payroll reports and monitor banking limits.
Processes associates on leave and monitors deductions with the Benefits team.
Enters wage withholdings (garnishments, etc.).
Prepares manual checks on an as-needed basis.
Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations and pay rate changes.
BACKGROUND THAT FITS:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field (e.g., Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, etc.) coupled with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Payroll/HR Shared Services environment.
Working knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory requirements as they relate to payroll processing.
Experience with payroll and time software systems, specifically ADP Workforce Now.
