  • This position is responsible for overseeing the initiation, organization, execution, monitoring and completion of projects within Payroll Operations in support of the team’s business objectives.
  • You will develop project plans and establish deadlines.
  • Managing relevant project team members.
  • Ensuring projects stay on track, and adjusting if necessary, to meet new requirements.
  • Partnering across key stakeholders both internally and externally to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Communicating with relevant stakeholders and senior leaders regarding the status of the project portfolio.
  • Assists with documentation of processes and operating procedures working with both on-shore and off shore resources.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • 5 – 7 years of experience managing medium to large size cross functional projects.
  • A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a Payroll function or related field; experience across multiple areas, including experience in payroll processing, garnishments administration and/or tax administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to operate and influence cross-functionally at all levels and partner with key stakeholders to obtain results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving orientation with enthusiasm for digging into and solving cross-functional business, operational and organizational issues.
  • Experience with compliance and controls in a project environment.
